TRABUCADOR BEACH GUIDED ROUTE

Service Description

Extraordinary 19km landscape route to enjoy the great diversity of ecosystems (fauna, vegetation, sea, rice fields, etc.). · We will start from the Bicis Delta Natura center located in the same town of Poble Nou del Delta, a Mediterranean-style town, with charm, landscaped streets, white-painted houses and an open interior patio. An agricultural, fishing and tourist town surrounded by rice fields, in the middle of natural spaces such as the Bahía de los Alfaques, the Encañizada lagoon and the Tancada lagoon. · We will continue towards Playa del Trabucador and part of the Laguna de la Tancada. Barra del Trabucador, a natural space where we will find an arm of sand that goes into the Mediterranean Sea, you can see two beaches; one exterior Mediterranean Sea and another interior the Bahía de los Alfacs. · We will continue to the Salinas de la Trinidad, the only sea salt flats in Catalonia and one of the main salt mines in Spain located in Punta de la Banya, a peninsula located in the Ebro Delta linked through the Barra del Trabucador. · Once we have finished the visit to Barra del Trabucador we will follow the route to Laguna de la Tancada, we will travel along a bike lane circulating through the interior of the Laguna, at the end of the lane we will continue until we return to Poble Nou where we will leave the bicycles at the Bike center Delta Nature. · After the bicycle route, taking advantage and visiting the town on foot, we headed towards the Pati d'Agustí Restaurant located in Poble Nou in the delta.
